Hello!
I'm not so sure this is the right catagory for this question but here goes... I am in my second year of wedding photography w/ some very happy customers... But, I notice that when i view my images on my website from my laptop they don't look near as crisp as they do on my home computer and this worries me as far as future customers viewing my website on their laptop! Is this a callibration problem or is this normal...?...I am not a computer expert! Any ideas? thanx so much! Joelle www.joelleleephotography.vpweb.com |

If you are truly concerned, try viewing your site from as many different computers as you can. Its likely that its just the display settings on your laptop are off. Some laptops have very limited controls so calibrating them may not be possible. You really cant do anything to change the viewing experience of remote viewers as they will each have different settings. I dont know your style of work but I do know that some photographers up the contrast a bit on some of their portfolio images to make sure they display well. But that may just make them appear too contrasty on some screens.
