Why thank you, Sean! It's nice to see you lurking over here again. I notice your lineup is in constant movement, except for that 35, which is the one you were talking about selling when we first met in the Sam35 thread .
Did you really sell your Sig 50? I can't believe, it, you were doing really nice work with that. Needed money for the 85 1.2?
BTW, the PP is compliments of silverefex2.

Here is one more from yesterday. I just finished processing it.

Mookalafalas;

Loving your photography, so real looking, fabulous actually! Beautiful contrast with the black n' white, superb, I love it....

You should be showing these personal photo's in an art gallery.

Go for it!!!

I think you're onto something with the 14mm and silverefex2, photos are looking really great

The 35mm f/1.4 ZE is probably the only lens I absolutely must have. You're right about the Siggy 50, it's a great lens but it was getting a bit redundant since I got the 85L. The Zeiss 100mm will probably go as well due to it being slightly out of range of the ST-E2 transmitter when doing full body shots, which I found annoying on shoots after a while. Probably send those funds towards a 5D Mark III after the dust settles.

Also using the Nex-5n 80% of the time now as I can carry it around every day. I recently bought the Oly Zuiko 21mm f/3.5 which works for both the 5D and the Nex and gives me the same fov as the Zeiss 21mm and pretty good IQ as well as a great 32mm for a walkaround on the nex. Not quite the Samyang 14mm, which I've been tempted to pick up again if not for the size!

Yeah, I bought some 4/3s cameras and lenses, but just today sold the last of them off to raise money for more Canon gear. To be honest, for my shooting style (and for yours, I think), as I don't shoot action or super low light, I don't need the 5D3 at all, but I am obsessed by it anyway...

Mac, it's black and white photo editing software made by "Nik" something or other. I think it can only be used as a plug in for Adobe (either Lightroom or CS). You choose the photo you want converted, and it will give you about 25 different possible "looks" for your photo, and then a bunch of powerful editing tools for working on it--for example general contrast plus contrast for ONLY the highlights, midtones, or darks. It's very powerful for black and white conversion.

I know what you mean, if you pick one up I'd be interested to see how this lens performs on it

I was too weak...I'm getting one in a couple of days. I'm pretty sure this lens will be exactly the same on it, however. The sensors are similar except at high ISO, and of course the improved AF won't do a thing...
