anybody used one of these - the camera clips onto your belt; seems a good idea but i worry how secure it is?

Re: B-Grip Camera Belt Clip
I wouldn't waste my money on that for a couple of reasons.
First and foremost, it provides absolutely no protection for the camera or any way to carry accessories.
Secondly, I use a quick-release system for my tripods and monopod. In order to use the B-Grip, I would have to remove the quick-release plate from my camera and install the quick-release adapter for the B-Grip.
In addition, if using larger lenses that have tripod mounting rings, that's where you would want to attach the B-Grip and that does not sound practical at all as a way to carry a camera.
To me, a small shoulder bag makes much more sense to me to carry a single camera body and a single lens. The price tag for a small shoulder bag would probably be less than the B-Grip and the bag would be far more versatile.
A few cameras and almost 50 years behind them .....
..... but still learning all the time.
