Agreed.. I use the patch tool for stuff like that as well, on separate layers. I'll use the heal tool for small blemishes, large pores.

Great thread, it would really help if everyone posted lighting setups and exif though!

Near the top of the thread there's an option in thread tools where you can subscribe to a specific thread. Then when you log in, you can check your User CP to see which subscribed threads have new postings.

I believe he means that when you post to a thread, you then are subscribed and follow the latest updates posted.

Yep. Any thread that I post to, I'm automatically subscribed to that thread. What happens then, is when I come back to POTN after a while, I can check my "User CP" and it will show me if there are any new posts in my subscribed threads. It comes in handy if you ask a question that you need a quick answer to, or like this thread, where I (who am inexperienced in shooting seniors) can learn from the pros by being able to see when someone's posted to this thread.

This is a very interesting image, I haven't seen anyone apply a pattern masking (can't remember the right term for this right now) to this type of shot. I kind of like it though. It's definitely different and I'm sure would appeal to the individual as well. I like the twist you placed on it. Taking a traditional style concept and adding an interesting twist, excellent, and thanks for the many ideas I now have running in my head. I need to find my note pad...

thanks.. she did love it. I had seen a very similar shot done by Pham, just wanted to add my personal twist to it. Glad I could inspire someone
