night fishing shots with S3 IS - help please :O)

Hello happy snappers! I recently (2 days ago) acquired a Canon S3 IS camera and first impressions, very cool! I plan on using it for fishing/wildlife shots while fishing and in particular i plan on using it to take self shots with the timer in pitch black which is when the fish i catch normally bite! I need some help with the settings for this though as it came with a german, italian and french user manual but no english one! and my french is a little rusty even when asking for bread so french camera instructions are beyond me lol anyone know of a PDF online manual for this? can anyone help me setup the night shots so when its 4am in the pitch dark and freezing fingers i can just put it on a tripod and setup the self timer to take 10 quick shots after ten seconds please? any help appreciated greatly thanks :O)

As for the automated ten shots, can't help there. Have you looked into CDHK? There might be something there for you (if it'll work on that camera). Maybe an auto-bracket feature?

Why would you need ten quick shots?
