Hello!
Searching for advice, knowledge with Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 USM L. Looking to buy this lens for nature-stills. Would it work without Tripod Collar just mounting the camera, or the Tripod Collar is necessary? I'll appreciate your advice! Leon |

Thanks for replies!
I guess Canon does not include a Tripod Collar with the lens for a reason. But there is the place on the lens for a tripod collar. I'll be using this lens to capture far objects mostly 105mm - 200mm. And I do have a steady Manfrotto set for the purpose. I wanted to know what people get shooting at 100-200mm. This is not IS version so I would guess it would be better to balance the gear. I didn't know I can buy the Mount for $12. Thanks, I'll read more about it. Leon |
