This is not as sharp as the rest of the pics posted here, but I love the colors of this bird.

Carzee and CDS, thanks for the compliment on the Egret. Patience paid off that day. Theres nothing like taking 1/2 hour to step by step get as close as I did. That shot is full frame. He was so intent on fishing that I was ignored.

My first ever shot of a little egret last weekend.
And you always remember your first

But this one is my favourite because it was taken with my first ever SLR ,
when I'd only just started photography. I knew exactly what I wanted to do in photography from that moment.
