Default Trade 100mm 2.8 macro with sigmalux - a fair trade?

Folks,

Need your opinion on this.
Is trading a mint 100mm macro comes genuine and hoya filter with a good copy sigmalux 50mm 1.4, a fair trade? Has anyone done it before?

if not, what is fair?

It should be a great trade. After all, they are the same value.

But then, it would be slightly harder to obtain a sharp copy of the Sigma.

Yes, that's what puts me off .
I guess yours is sharp

I have owned both lenses and I would have to agree that it's a fair trade.

Yeah, I went through quite a bit of them through the shelves at a local camera store and then without much luck just decided to get an used one off another POTN member, and that has worked out quite well for me

But then in terms of what they both sell for, they have the same value.

thanks folks. That's why I'd like to trade it in this forum
only the hood, no collar ....genuine canon collar is a rip-off, can get a knock one for a tenth of the price.

it's fair but you have to make sure you get sigma under warranty if you are buying one.

You are right but they never ask if you are the original owner. In fact, (in case of Canon) I have even told them honestly that I am the second owner and they did honor warranty every time.
