They were selling at 2.1k new just a few days ago.

Hopefully a bigger buffer. I'm talking 100RAW images @20MP and more. That'd be sweet!

the digic 5 is now out in 2 point and shoots.

In the year 2199, yup, we have sometime to wait for the new batch of DIGIC processors, somehow I don't think I will be around, but you never know

I was at a local camera shop yesterday and the rep behind the counter was saying the digic 5 was "only" for P&S cameras... kinda a bummer. he also said their will never be a "Canon EOS 6D" like canonrumors has been saying. take it with a grain of salt.
