The two dark areas on the lower corners do a great job balancing out the sky, pretty cool shot.

I would say 75% of my landscape shots, I use my 70-200 f/4L.

5D, 70-200 f/4L @ 122mm, ISO 1600, 1/500, f/7.1

5D, 70-200 f/4L @ 159mm, ISO 100, 2 sec, f/11

5D, 70-200 f/4L @ 91mm, ISO 100, 1/40, f/8

5D, 70-200 f/4L @ 188mm, ISO 100, 1/40, f/8

5D, 300mm f/4L IS, ISO 100, 1/10, f/11

I have to admit that I have never even thought of using a telephoto lens for landscape. But you learn something new every day (most times) and now I will go and see what i can do. Every image so far is a nice piece of work. Keep it up guys!

All of these shots were taken with a Rebel XT

Shot with a 100-400L

Shot with a EF 85 f/1.8

Shot with a EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 @ full zoom (i think)
