oops should learn to proof read. Should have posted "Their First Dance"

I certainly wished the dancefloor was larger. The influx of people wanting to capture the first dance made it impossible to have a wideangle shot.

I used my PW flex as OCF while my friend stood their holding it for me. Many people thought my "assistant" was a strange fellow holding a flash in his hand. I'm satisfied with all of the moments I've captured.

My friends just got back from their honeymoon so I was editing some photo's last night. Soo many to edit :)

#1 the light between them is just too "hot" for my taste and her skin is "orange"
#2 I do like, but it looks like he is in focus and she is not?

I really like the first shot. I realize the light between them is 'hot', but I think the shot works well. The colour 'aberations' don't bother me either--in fact I think these two 'flaws' add to the mood and remind one of the ambiance of the night. Just my opinion, but...
Thanks for sharing

I might have clone-stamped the fellow of the the grooms left side and maybe the woman to the brides right.

Otherwise kinda neat

i turned the first one into black and white, played with the curves, crop and cloned out the guys in the background and i think it is looking much better... i'd post but your image editing is turned off.

In the second one I find the women to the left to be distracting and imo takes away from the moment since she is not even looking at the bride and groom.

I like them, but it doesn't look like the dance floor was THAT small. I think there was an opportunity to create the feel of a large elegant dance floor with the benefit of a very wide lens, IMO.

This was a very small dance floor and especially narrow but a wide lens (in this instance in portrait orientation to capture the chandelier) can create the sense of space:
