That's kinda it, yeah

Trying to work out if I'll take my gear with me, given I'm there to write. It's about a 20-minute walk to the ground where they play it (every year) so I'm thinking of taking the camera gear in the ThinkTank bag along with a speedlight, and going a few hours early.

Heh, I got mine first, but Sheldon got a slightly better deal. OTOH, they NEVER come up down here - there might only be a handful in the country, for all I know - so I was pretty happy

Yup. "Light: Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting" is a terrific book for explaining this sort of thing.

600 RX's arrived... recycle time at full power isn't bad... pretty solid construction.... thank you B&H for another successful purchase. Should be fun to use them this weekend... we have a 7 day old to photograph. GOOD TIMES
