LR 3 has been destroying my PC lately, need some help
using 97% of my 4GB of memory (3ghz quad cpu).. how can I fix this?
can't upgrade just yet LR set to allocate 50GB of space for cache rendering 1:1 ratio one catalog per wedding it's taking literally 3 or 4 seconds to go from photo to photo.. and this only happens sometimes

Use a website call crucial.com! You can download a little program that scans your computer and tells you the most powerful upgrade possible for the rest of your current hardware, and it's very cheap too! I'm getting 8Gb Ram for me Mac soon!

Hmmm, with Windows 7 64-bit and some memory resident programs loaded by default after booting, when I start LR3 my computer shows only 2.56MB of RAM consumed. Without LR running, my computer showed only 2.33MB of RAM consumed.
