Default Angie and Robert- another first wedding set, feedback wanted!

Yep, another photographer getting into the game.... OK, maybe not truly, but I'm starting to book occasional weddings and portrait sessions and I really enjoy it. I know how tough this crowd can get, so try to take it easy on me.

Here's a set from a wedding I did a couple weeks ago for Angie and Robert in Denver, CO at the Montclair Civic Building. The bride wanted the pictures to feel vintage and have a candid and journalistic approach... totally non-formal. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

You're going to get yelled at for embedding more than 8 photos.

Do you want feedback or do you want people to take it easy on you? Overall I think you did a pretty decent job for a first wedding. #1 I wish the focus was on her face, not the back of her head. I don't like the sepia toned processing you used. A few shots have harsh lighting. But all in all, not a bad job.

I only did 8 per posting.... I guess I missed the part that says only 8 per thread. I'll take them down if the mods wish.

The processing actually isnt' sepia- it's a mix of LR "aged photos" and other settings.

As for the critiques- I definitely want feedback. I guess I just mean that I'm looking more for overall feedback on the set and the feel of the pictures as opposed to people telling me about little things like missing the focus and having overblown highlights, since I'm aware of most of those.

If people aren't critiquing on the things that need improvement.. Not sure what they are supposed to critique on? In that case I am guessing you really want people to pat you on the head and say good job. Judging by your sensitive response "That's not sepia!" lol..

Good job, these are THE BEST wedding photos I have ever seen in my life.

Hey, I didn't use an exclamation point.

I'm not sensitive or offensive at all- I just meant that I was hoping to get some feedback regarding the overall feel and look of the photos. I'm aware that I need to improve on some of the technical aspects of the shots, which will come with time and more practice of course.

I like 6 and 8 a lot. I'm not really digging the rest; they're not bad but all fairly ordinary looking; almost like snapshots.

We all have to start somewhere!!

I like the last one best. Not sure about the processing though. (a little to heavy for me.)
