Just reading all the new CS6 photoshop features that relate to photography. Crop tool and content aware have some good updates.

Anyone else found anything of value (value of upgrade cost)

I gave her my old 40D with the kit lens. And these are what she's producing. Not too bad for someone who had no photographic desire as such before we started dating i reckon!

btw: 99% of these are sans-tripod.

Good to hear.
I like that first one. The second would benefit from a tripod.

How's the new house? Pretty exciting aye! We have a guy coming over tomorrow night to negotiate an offer on his property, its a private sale. Has a 220sqm industrial workshop I'll be able to convert pretty easily for work, will be freakin' amazing

Will also be able to fully setup the studio again and have a big demo area for all our lights etc.

The house is really nice too, will be awesome to have a house with doors that actually close or other doors that don't swing themselves shut! Will also be good to have a home for our wee man. Ever since they made our area redzone it just isn't home any more

Woha!! That looks like a dream place.

Congratulations, and good luck!!

It's the fastest I can get at the moment.
It's because I live on the outskirts of a town.
I think I could get a faster connection if I change to Telekom, however I tried changing in February and found that the provider I currently have has automatically extended my contract for another year, and I needed to cancel it 3 months before!! Grrrrr! SO I need to wait till February next year before I can do anything.

Latest ACR is great, worth the upgrade price for me, comes in LR too but I don't like LR at all. I don't much like the new crop tool, and I haven't worked out how to use content aware stuff well yet.

Ive "youtubed" the new features just to see some working examples.
Ive never been a lightroom fan except when I was shooting motorsport.

Mum and kids downstairs watching old star war movies. Funny to see how far technology has come since they came out in the late 70's. One day we will talk about owning these old cameras we now have

"Grandad did you really use one of those" ............

Optional recall is more accurate. I'd do it though.

One of the perks of being in the USA - you get to see different planes flying around trying not the crash into each other

Went to an airshow last weekend at a local (by US standards) air force base.

Going through some old IDE drives and low and behold found some missing photos

Found some home videos of my girls learning to ride bikes .... I will show them latter.

I still have lost folders but think they are long gone now. Shame I didnt take better care. Oh well we learn by our mistakes.
