Well 2017 is just about done.

After 15yrs as IT manager at a school, I called it a day. Picked up some temp gardening work just to give myself an unwind period.
No idea what's next.

Whats everyones plan for xmas/2018

Well the for me the new company is stressful. I am doing stuff I have no skill for and learning everything thru google.

17 is a good year. Got to travel overseas.

as for the '18

Like Weka, I am tried of IT and would like to get in to something new. As for what, not to sure.

good stuff Weka, I vaguely remember a saying, "absolutely nobody on their deathbed ever said - I wish I'd spent more time at work"...

Mark - I'm not so much tired of IT (I do like fixing broken stuff), it's the incompetence of management who seem hell-bent on making almost exactly the same mistakes year in, year out. Seemingly ignorant of what has happened in the past, they seem either not to notice, of not to care. Muppets. This week it's "we must adopt the Agile approach" Clowns haven't noticed we've been agile since 1996.

Have a happy Christmas everyone, I'll be in sunny Wellington for a couple of weeks. And no, haven't bought any camera gear this year at all, unless you count a spare M5 battery as "gear"

yea facing some of the same problems. everything seems over my skill level and no one wants to make a decision.

Chris, that's quite nice. I like how the name stands out and it's very dynamic. That's one the hardest things is to get the photo out of the head and correctly envisioned in the finial image.

Thankyou. I agree. I have been back and back to this shot over the years and could never produce anything that made me feel what I thought when I first saw the location. Was doing a look and cull operation and came across it and was compelled to try again. Improvements in software helped, it was done in the latest ver of OnOne and Photoshop.

I am going to guess, a few failed HDD's in a SAN.

Not having done much with SAN's so I can't be to sure.
