From your title folks are thinking you are shooting with the 50 1.8.

The last set is much better

I am shooting with the 50mm f1.8, bu the 1st 2 link in my original post are from my 55-250mm, and I explained that clearly in my first post.

Ahh sorry -- should have read more..

Anyway you have gotten some good advice - get the shutter speed up a bit and try just center point only for the focus point until you get used to it.

That is what I have it set to now and what am doing. I figured some people are not reading the post that accompanied the thread, and you just proved that, before jumping to bash me.

I didn't bash you -- Your title says nifty fifty and the first photo you post is from the 55-250...

What was your point then? I take blurry photos with my 55-250 and my 50 1.8 ??

I was only letting you know that the title of the thread and your first sentence mention different lenses and that is what is confusing folks.

I couldn't tell if you were serious or not at first, but kudos to you for sticking to it and continuing to come back for tips and suggestions.

I'll probably be right there with you next week when I get my 60d in the mail.

Plenty of tutorials/walk thrus on here and on the WWW as a whole.

Get reading to understand the concepts behind aperture, shutter speed and ISO.

Practice. Practice. Practice.

I must admit, after the first crop of shots I did think this was somewhat of a joke. Good luck.

and when u shoot, try hold the camera steady but dont grip it too tight or u will add shake to it. try lean against wall or something helps too.
