Just goes to prove that there isn't such a thing as a "perfect" photo and that different people have different interests

We should always be cautious that a great photo is a great photo for its own reasons and not just because its taken by a "great" photographer

Well, yes and no I figure is the "real world". I've seen photos by say Ansel Adams that to me came across as "meh" but in context of a book of his work at least merited a look and wondering what he was "seeing" there.

But it is interesting -- some people pointed out in the comments on that blog that the "critiqes", though spoofs, actually in many cases pointed out valid considerations, things that here would be pretty common and not in a "mean" way.
