What's wrong with my Flickr or what am I doing wrong?

I see people who throw their Flickr links in their profiles and I want to do that too...however, I can't seem to be able to get my neat little address like I see people have...ie: flickr.com / johnsmithisawesome

My username on Flickr is LowriderS10 but if I put in flickr.com/LowriderS10 I get an error...what's going on?

You need to do this

[ URL=www.flickr.com/photos/disrupter911 ]myFlickr[ /URL ]

Remove the spaces and Thatll make it clean and clickable.

Oh no, I know how to do that...the problem is that

flickr.com/LowriderS10 doesn't go to my account...why not?

Or does it go to my page on your computer?

You need to go into your Flickr account settings and setup your address. You'll find help on the Flickr Help forum or Help link on the top right.

Note, you can only set that url once, but change your username whenever you want. Make sure you definitely want flickr.com/LowriderS10 forever.

you can also use http://www.flickr.com/tamasv which will redirect and put the /photos/ part into the url.

It used to be that you had to give out the whole /photos/tamasv url, but (last year maybe?) they began the redirect, which I think was a great idea, so you can say "flickr dot com slash myname"
