What lens did you use on this and what settings. Did you have your camera on a tripod and just focus on one flower waiting for a bee to come by?

Took these with the 100L Macro. I just used Av mode, set my iso and off I went. The bees were just flying from flower to flower so I just had to be patient (and extremely lucky) to find one that would linger for a bit. I have to say it's mostly luck to catch photos of bees in flight. All shots were handheld. I left my ringflash at home as I hadn't anticipated taking macros that morning.
