I just received my 5D2......coming from 1D3's and a 7D....there are definate differences. The 5D2 is more clunky with shutter activation and not as quick. Focus is slower to lock on then the 1D3 and 7D. Pro level bodies are far and away more solid, respond better and just feel better. The build is nite and day different! On a positive note...the files at 6400ISO were better than both the 7D and 1D3! I think the 5D2 will be a good portrait and landscape tool....but for changing environments, sports, and overall versatility...you really can't beat the 1D3 ( except a 1D4 of course!) Just some first observations!

Re: 5D2 Observations!
Sounds about right.
