Default Bridge in B&W

I took this picture of a bridge today and converted it to B&W while I couldn't sleep (too warm). I'd like some feedback about this image, as it's my first try at B&W. I used Photoshop CS to edit out a distracting railing and to convert it to B&W from color.


Canon 350D, Canon 18-55, Tokina 12-24, Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX, 430EX
