Here is the truth, her grandmother is a dress maker in the Dominican Republic. She asked her grandmother to make her the dress, the grandmother said that she would make the most beautiful dress shes ever made and this was the result. It definitely is gorgeous really long on the back

I have been hired by an organization for the third year in a row to photograph their annual golf outing. In the past, I would drive from hole to hole attempting to capture the foursomes and inevitably miss some of the groups. This year I asked the organizer if there was an issue with setting up a “station” at one of the holes near the clubhouse where I could have some scenery in the background, and he was good with that.

The country club said I was not allowed to put my light stand on the green, so I had to put the groups in the grass in front of the landscaping, and then shoot from the other side, about 45’ away. I had great success with the photos, and was very pleased with my Neewer Vision5, 400WS TTL Strobe, shot at full power, 7” reflector, about 12’ from the groups.

I like the idea of the plastic cup to line up the golfers.

A bit less power I would have used to light them to have some more shadow in the face so it flows with the sun. If you look under the caps you see the shadow of the flash but no shadow of the sun.

I would moved the flash more in front of the golfers so that the guy closest to the flash does not that much light. I would spread it more from left to right.

A small softbox would compensate save some shadow produced by the sun and to compensate any reflection in the sunglasses the flash has to be higher. And to compensate that again a reflector for the sunlight to fill so you can use less flash power.

I think the bravery awards go to his equipment.
