Love this time of year, some of the best photos I've taken are supercross/motocross

All I can say is since I found this forum, and the pics you post and the pics of others, I couldn't resist the urge to expand my horizons and go shoot some MX/hare scrambles this year with my new found hobby.

Thanks for posting the Supercross pics...I've been waiting for someone to put some up.

For those that went to the race, but missed some of the off-track action and in-depth look at the event . . .

And there is more to see, but because of forum posting limits I can't post them here so you will have to look at the supercross post on my blog.

I know, once a year and if you miss it you have to wait an entire year before the show comes around again.

We were up flying above the 2011 AMA SuperCross at Dodger Stadium and snapped a couple pictures. Thought you guys might enjoy the slightly different perspective.

Just click on the image to bring up the gallery.

Cheers,

Thanks Scott,

I posted a response to your question on my blog, but I'll answer it here also:

I’m shooting with a Canon 7D, both shots at f2.8, the Trey Canard image is shot at 1/100 shutter speed using my 70mm – 200mm f2.8L IS set at 70mm with my ISO at 200 and the 995 KTM rider shot with a 300mm f2.8L IS using 1/800 shutter speed and my ISO set at 1600.

I guess I need to create an AMA Supercross part II blog post.
