Help needed with white backgrounds

Hi there and thank you for your help. (This is my 1st post in this section of the forum.)

I have shot some small products for a catalogue I want to print in a couple of months. I have setup my lights based on this video:

One with no PP but probably a little over exposed.

Is there something wrong with my setup? Because I get shadows on both sides of the board even though I have lights on both sides. Apart from what you see on my setup, I have taken the pictures in our warehouse and the roof has 2 sheets of transparent fibre glass IBR. The light bulbs are 100W each and are the blue daylight ones. Can it be that the shadow is more caused by the light from the sun shining through that the light bulbs not being strong enough? The screens are acetate.
Another this is that the white does not seem to look like white.

As this is my first effort in this line of photography, I know I still have a lot to learn.

Shooting kit:
Canon 40 with Canon 24-105 f/4 IS

You'll need to diffuse the light more to get rid of the shadows. Instead of blurred clear, try using white silk or other translucent white material to get rid of the shadow. It can also help to move the lights (not the panels) further away from the panels so you don't get a hot spot of light in the middle of the panel.

Hi Nick and thanx for the reply.

How can I make 100% sure that I get a 100% white background? The board my subjects are on are white but on the 2nd photo it is almost egg-shell colour?
