Default WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: PART 253 - Depth of Field

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This weeks the theme is DOF As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us your particular use of Depth of Field this week... Experimentation is encouraged

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between Monday posting and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e.,embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES

An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO DAY INDEX

That's it! Have fun!

Nice to see some flowers. Joayne. I probably won't get anything in until Saturday. Crazy week at work and trying to finish up the stainless steel in the kitchen so we can do the final inspection.

...I'm just jealous.. my kitchen is almost big enough to turn around in, but not if 2 people are in it at the same time

I'm sorry. I do tend to prattle on in my old age.

DOF for me almost always means I get to play at 1.8. Sorry if that is too predictable.

Your Wish is my command:
Fresh out of the oven at f1.2

At f4.5 the depth of field didn't quite include the entire tart.
I wanted to take it at f8 and was going for the shot, but the pastry chef threatened me with a big spatula if I didn't get out of her way so she could glaze this almond tart.
