Daniel Perantoni and his newly-wed wife were guests on the International Tuba and Euphonium Conference 2001. Mr. Perantoni was from New York and Italian descendant, so restaurant Mamma Maria in Lahti added a dish called "Pasta Perantoni" to their menu to honor his visit.
Mr. Perantoni, one of the most kind, fun and lively persons I have met, enjoyed the pasta (although meatballs should be added to the sauce raw, not fried!), and had a good time. This photo was a great memory of that moment and it has all the ingredients of that great American-Italian mentality!

Very nice capture of the moment! Too bad Daniel isn't fully (or too much cropped) on the photo.
