This brass instrument, a piccolo trumpet, was standing there when the orchestra had its coffee break. I took this photo handheld, and had some luck with me as it came out sharp. I did not want to use a flash as the reflections from brass are usually destroyed by flashes and bright lights. Those things on the floor are various mutes for changing the timbre and volume of the instrument (the stuff that Miles Davis loves).
