This foggy panorama was shot in Katajanokka area in Helsinki, in front of a small Restaurant 'Wellamo'. The photo has a good Finnish winter night mood in it, and it did seem to get a positive response in dpreview.com's excellent photo forum, so I got confident enough to include it into my gallery. The panorama was made of 12 vertical RAW photos which were shot in Manual mode, and the stitch came out just fine straight from PhotoStitch software after I told it I used a 34mm lens. The original finished image was 8424x1768! This image here has one very slighly visible seam on the left which was fixed in PS by using a transparent stamp tool, and I removed some blue aberration from the three strong lights from the left. The camera was balanced using a bubble, which should be done if you intend to make a smooth panorama. Hope you enjoy it!

Wonderful inspiring Panoramic! Sharpness is incredible for such an early Canon Digi even a tripod mounted one. The level of detail in the dark areas and the general color and exposure you have captured generate a terrific mood. Congratulations Will bookmark your site for future ref.

I find this picture is very interesting.Almost like walking down the street. The cars on the right ,add to the feeling that people are nearby, and that the cold night is closing in. The snow and slight haze ensure that the viewer can sense, the chill of the night air,and the warmth of the inside of the Resturant:The lights brighten the street. It is a great picture in all aspects.
