Paavo Berglund is one of the greatest conductors alive. When he comes to conduct the Finnish RSO, you know you'll have something special coming. He has a clear idea how the score should sound and rehearses it until he hears it happen. Sounds simple but most conductors just 'let it go' and let the music form by itself. Berglund carefully adjusts the balance and interpretation to match his view of the works, and it's always a refreshing moment to hear how something greater than just the mere notes emerge from the score.

As a symphony French horn player and amateur photographer, I enjoy your photo clips that catch that magical musical moment. I sense that you have a love for the creative process and your pics amply display that awareness.
