What is Digital Photo Gallery Database?

This is a public database for promoting and storing info of your digital photo galleries on internet. It was opened March 8th, 2004.

  • Central storage of gallery information for promotional purposes
  • A way to prevent your valuable galleries to be lost in cyberspace
  • A system which lets you search galleries by very specific criteria
  • A way to obtain an index page to all your galleries even if they are spread around the net.
Just link to the database with keyword "Your Name" (example) and you'll see instantly your gallery info index page.
  • A way to get you more visitors.

There are no fees. This service is free for both the viewers and users.

Currently, you make a new gallery, announce it in some forum(s), in few days the announcement is gone and no one will ever see it again, unless seeking google for "digital photo gallery" which will not help you much. If you enter your gallery information here, it will be available indefinitely for people who seek such galleries to find.

Digital Photo Gallery Database changes all that.

Here each user may enter their own galleries to database: if you have a pbase account with several folders, you can enter each folder with respective info, or just the main level - your choice. You maintain the data using personal online editor we provide.

By gallery info I mean gallery info (title, description, address), not info of each individual photo.

On the index page everyone can seek galleries with detailed info: find all galleries using Canon 1D mark II, all galleries about aviation or weddings, all galleries by john, all galleries which have used Nikon 1Dx and certain lens, all galleries featuring landscape photos. Variations are endless. Search features will continue to have more choices - this site will be built constantly to your satisfaction.

News page lists new galleries for any given day.

Adding a new gallery could not be easier - register to the system, log in, just select from dropdown menus, type header and short description and unhide the gallery (all newly created galleries are by default hidden from public). Takes less than minute per gallery.

We do not ask for any other personal information other than real name (gallery owner) and email. Email addresses are not revealed to anyone as they are used only in password recovery and support conversations, real names are visible in gallery listings. We use two cookies: one is to store your login validation info, the other stores your latest choice of layout so that you don't have to select it every time you come back.

Welcome!
