Photography-on-the.net is a non-commercial photography enthusiast's site. By using this site, photography-on-the.net, and any of its content and services you agree that some cookies will be stored on your browser and you agree to our privacy policy:
The only personal information we collect from you when you register to forums, is an email address that you can access. We can remove (garble) the email address from your user account by request or you may do it yourself when logged in, but then a possiblity to reset password (when forgotten), and notification emails will not function any more.
When you register to the forum and post to the forums, we will store your email address, source ip numbers of posts, pms and registration along with your username to our server. Passwords are encrypted heavily, they are never stored in plain text. Only site admin/owner can access that information directly. We provide ip browsing tools for our moderators for reasons of scammer detection, fraud, account recovery and troubleshooting reasons. Our server stores page access logs, they are accessible only by site admin. We have enabled all reasonable data protection methods like passwords, firewall, SSL etc. to keep the data safe.
We do not share the user data to any third party. Exceptions to this may be official inquiries (we will help police to catch frauds and criminals if needed) or change of site ownership (not likely).

Some third party cookies might be set by services including Facebook and Google. These services provide social buttons and similar features which we use on our website - such as the "Share" buttons and ads. To do so we embed code that they provide. Via that embedded code those services generally know if you are logged in; for example Facebook may use this to say "x of your friends like this". We do not have any access to that information, nor can we control how those networks use it.
Some embedded content in forum posts may use Adobe Flash. Adobe's website offers tools to control Flash cookies on your computer. Other embedded plugins may also be used if your browser supports them. We have no say in how those plugins use cookies or track users.
