Well guys. I hate to say it, but I am done with my 365. It has seriously become a task. Life has gotten so busy that I dont really have time and when I do I am to tired to do anything.

So I am done. If it is ok though I would like to continue to share photos with you guys. I will still follow this thread as well.

I hate to see you do it, but as others have said I totally get it :) I am glad you will be sticking around and posting still, even if its only a weekly picture Id still love you to post it here.

Love the perspective on that shot Eddy! Ive never played a full round of golf but I love the driving range and putt putt so maybe its time I give it a go!

ok off to brainstorm on tonights shot .....

Thank you all for the far too generous comments...

Will be a shame that you will not be posting a regularly Casper, having said that I have no idea how you guys do it every day, I am certainly in a very fortunate position where time is not an issue.

Anyone would think spring has well and truely sprung with all the flower shots on here, they are fantastic!

JFusion wrote in post #9993198 (external link)
These are awesome! I have a series of similar shots planned for later in the spring. Any tips?

Not sure I am any use for tips, I feel that any good shot I take is certainly down to luck at the moment, still so much to learn!!!

The original picture itself was nothing specialal though it was sharp and the focus was where I wanted it to be although the weather was awful so lighting was bad and there was a fair amount of noise. But esentially played around in photoshop, bumped up the intensity of the blacks to get rid of the BG clutter and talso played around with the green saturation after I had turned to BW to remove some of the leaf at the back!

There was a grat post on here about shooting for black an white, I did try and find it but came up empty, but one of the things that stuck in my head was shooting for contrast... Will have a look again in a bit and see if I can't post a link.

Its not that I dont want to do it anymore. Its that one days that I dont have time I find myself forcing shots. I am in season right now. So there are days where I tattoo from 10a.m. to 10p.m. with very little time in between tattoos. So I have been forced to do them at night time at home when I am mentally exhausted.

I do however have a photoshoot tonight and one on sunday. So I will have some new pictures for everyone then.

Alikat. The best advise I can give you for shooting flowers is dont shoot straight down on them. I read a landscape photography tid bit somewhere that suggested that. It makes your flower shots way cooler.

Thank you! I have some tulips in full bloom and will be around a few parks this weekend so hopefully I can get some practice in :)

If you decide to make them wet. Mix some vegetable glycerin and water so that when you mist the flower the water drops stick.

Well...

Think my camera is broken, The CF card is corrupt so I can't shoot! However the camera still wont shoot when there is no card! I'm going to take it into a shop tomorrow. Hopefully a new Car will be ok. As such a phone photo is going to do for today :( I'm gutted!
