Thanks for the advice and the link, i'll be reading through that soon... gotta go see a friend and fellow rider in the hospital tonight. :( older woman didn't see him coming and made a left turn from the opposite direction, litterally cut right infront of him. And only hour's after i took his picture, a good reminder of why i'm selling my bike and getting into photography, just a little safer, LOL.

1st pic is just a tad OOF, has been PP'd on Lightroom and cropped....
2nd pic is unedited other than being downsized for photobucket...

i broke my ribs and collapsed my lungs on june 8th 2008, lowsided and slammed into a guardrail up in the mountains. after that big accident i had, i still rode my bike after i fixed it up. Now, the ride is going in the market...

here are some of my motorcycle shots up in the mountains, parking lot, and streets. I hope they work for your entertainment...

Nice stunt pics... haven't had time to go through them all yet, but nice stuff.

Turns out my buddy Dave has 3 bruised ribs, and pin-hole in his right lung (think he was holding his breath when he smaked into the truck and ruptured), broken right wrist, torn pelvic ligaments, fractured pelvic socket, and fractured L-11 in his back....

His zx10 is obviously done for, and he's already joking about the new "wish list"
Glad he's staying in good spirits !

this was about 2-3 hours before his accident... (hope he likes this Cause I am going to get it printed in a 16x20 and mounted for his garage. His wife and 3 kids started crying when I told them i was doing this for him, They said "That's great!!! He absolutely LOVED that bike.")

I just can't decide which one to do for him, 1 of these 2, or the original without the added vignetting and standard color....

Just picked up a super minty 24k click 1d2n. Coming from the regular 1d2 I'm really diggin' the larger screen :D

I love the 24-70L on this camera ;) (Just testing out the camera here, please excuse the crappy WB)

What did you use to scale the shot to 200%? Fractals?

The probably the cleanest 200% upscale I've probably ever seen (as sharp as my 70-200 2.8 is at 100%!!). Cracking lens.

Well, the first one emphasizes the bike much more, if that is what you want to do! What a nice thing to do; I hope your friend recovers quickly!

The first one is my pick. I'm sure your friend will like it. Hope he gets well soon. By the way, humans have only 5 lumbar vertebra so there is no L11. Could it be T11? We have 12 thoracic vertebra. :)
