I think I like the PP but I have a couple of comments.

First thing that stikes me is that it would probably work better as a larger presentation. I suspect that might mitigate my second comment.

The background is so dark he subject has kinda lost context.

This is my interpretation of this player and the game, in an effort to get something different from the usual sports 'action' type of shot.
I am pleased that it can provoke thought and comment.

i like it... kinda of the old sports card feel. color depth nice.

The frame is made up of a series of actions in photoshop. I run the procedure whenever I upload to the we to forums such as this. I feel it helps with the presentation.

OK, the action briefly consists of these steps.

1. Image resized to around 600 pixels long edge and 72 dpi
2. The whole image selected and a 4 point light grey stroke added around the inside edge. Another stroke of 2 pixels is added using the canvas border colour that will be added in the next step
3. Canvas is enlarged about 15% for long edge and 18% for short edge. The canvas colour is chosen carefully so as not to overpower the image
4. Finally, a text layer is added with my company copyright and moved to the bottom right.

I have 2 actions, one for portrait and one for landscape orientations.
