Not. But good shots nonetheless.

Snapped of a friend at about 2am this morning after a few hours of drifting go-karts... lol

Accidental exp comp set to -1, caused quite a bit of noise by pushing the exposure back up... My fault :(

the post office may have lost my 1D.

it can't be found at Adorama at this time, they are still looking.

It would happen to me....I t hought I did really great - low price, new shutter, but then the electrical system goes down and the USPS truck loses it. Maybe it will be found, I don't know.

I feel a bit sick.

Please let me know if you need any help with this

thanks Helen! Scott came through for me and searched until he found it! He's a great guy. Make sure he gets lots of commendation!:)

My 1D was found and will be shipped back to me this afternoon. I am sure I will get it by the end of the week. They have even included my grid screen. I don't know if this is a replacement or a repair. I guess I'll know when I get it.

thanks so much Helen. Things haven't gone smooth as silk with my 1D, but I know things happen. I have no complaint with Adorama at all. Scott has answered all my emails promptly and has done his absolute best for me. I appreciate his kindness and patience with my questions and queries.

I can't wait to get it back!:D

Scott really IS a great guy; I've passed your comments on to his manager, who I know will also be delighted. Thanks so much for the posting.

SOOC Jpeg. I love the colours this thing gives. With the new 70-200, 118mm wide open.

Wow... using the ETTR method, I find that the ISO1600 setting is very much usable on the 1D.

No NR software was used...

That's very impressive. I've got one of the ones with the serial number starting with 1, apparantly they have banding issues, I've never used another one, but I've never found my high iso images to look anything like that clean. In fact I don't go over iso 400 for the most part.
