Got a 580exii and a yongnuo 460 flash and have lost the little plastic foot for one of them - find them really useful in the field when travelling light. Anyone know where to get one?

You could always make one out of just about anything that you could cut with a jig saw. Drill a hole in it and insert a 1/4 x 20 bolt.

I made a stand for a remote camera that way by using a cutting board I got from Wally World.

MT Stringer - a good invention, but the little plastic foot weighs almost nothing and is useful in my bag. May try your way for a camera foot later!

Photopat - will look at ebay - cheers

I've made the same kind of plate, but I cut them out of aluminum instead. I also anodized them. Probably more expensive than your cutting plate, but weight enough to be free standing.
