Wow, love this shot and the processing. What all did you do in post, if you don't mind sharing?

Last A4 photo. For all four photos I did minimal processing and spot healed this photo (removed some of the dirt).

Sorry Martin, you have every right to add these black bars to your photos but I find them off-putting. To me they detract from the photo, and distract me.

Somes times it's good to listen to others, I have since removed the border and I must say I prefer it :D Hope you like it better now..

Thank you - to be honest there is not a lot of processing on this shot - Simply drop the temprature towards the blue end and reduce saturation - it gives it that mono green look. My shutter speed was fast and therefore the shot was already dark, this kind of processing works better on darker images. If you need any more info or a preset from my LR collection then let me know, I'm more than happy to share..

QUOTED IMAGE

LOL Albeit you are technically right, I find the EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM so far away from the performance of other "kit lenses" that your comment threw me off. Good work, btw, on the pic.

I have always considered the 24- 105 L as the kit lens that came with my 5D2...

I found this lenses so versatile and good quality I use it most of the time except when I need longer telephoto or like when I left my flash and needed to shoot with wider aperture.
