Tell me what you think of the shot, processing etc. Looking for constructive critique not just a tear down, so offer up tips while breaking down.

The HDR is nice. Certainly better than most attempts that have been popping up around here lately. I do question why you didn't fix the tilt. Also, I'd rather have seen you step back a bit more to capture all of Logan Circle. Not this oddly composed view you chose to give the viewer.

#2 Why the tilt and what makes this shot interesting to the viewer?

Agree about the tilt and crop in the first.but I like the textures and colors.
Second isn't doing much for aesthetics, and yep, angle adds nothing. Was this just a capture of someone else doing the wedding photos?

I added the tilt as I thought it looked "clever" and artsy! And the wedding capture was not what I was shooting, they just happen to be doing their thing.

I agree with you on the step back and tilt on #1, thanks for that objective opinion.

Although based on your crop/composition, they're inevitably the center of attention.

It does, however, gets interesting as I pay more attention to the picture.

Frog is puking, behind the groom is a bank of port-a-potties and there's a bum passed out on a bench.

Yes...better than the recent HDRs in here but it still says "HDR" to me and shouldn't IMO. The 2nd image is OK but the guy laying on the bench and the porta-potties detract from the feeling of the photo IMO.

HDR is certainly not for everyone's taste, especially the pushed to the edge cartoonish photos, but it is catching on and it does have it's place....also IMHO.
