SYS Cream of the Crop  More info | Apr 30, 2010 14:37 | #2 Gorgeous models and nice background. The image, however, appears soft to me. The eye color on both models doesn't look natural to me, either. Did you do anything to the eye color during PP?

Some notes on this one the eyes are a little overdone here. I would tone them back a bit. If you are going to retouch eyes I would take the time to retouch the catchlight in this photo as it is dead center and that is not always the most flattering it would look better in about the 2 o'clock position. Also when cutting and pasting photos onto another background you want to try and not get jagged edges around the hair and clothing trying using a little bit of a feather to your selection so the subject blends into the background a little better. On the girls she has a weird shape on the right hand side of her hair it looks notched out I would try and avoid that as well. Lastly the color tone does not match from the picture taken with direct flash and the picture taken with ambient light it would look better if you added a little more yellow to the front picture. Keep shooting and posting it is the best way to learn. Sam Laterza flickr

Thanks for the support – obviously I am beginner in both photography as well as making my way through CS4 boot camp. This shot I did last night with about an hour post processing time; I didn’t know what RAW format even was when I took the photo last year. Canon Rebel T1i EF 50mm f1.4; EF-S 55-250; EF-S 18-55

. Just keep on taking pictures and having fun with it. If you want some bokeh in ur pictures put you F/ to the lowest. that would be 1/4 with you 50mm. Well have fun
the background and bokeh will come into play later..
