Dude...the quality and editing is amazing. Simply great work! Your making my upgrade choice to the 50D much more difficult now just to have the HD video option.

Im rather in a quite place at the moment so not sure if there was music that went along with it. But composition and editing wise I think you did an amazing job!

Great video! Nice editing too. I think the log worked well, it didn't jump out at me and make me think "why is that there!?". Seeing this video makes me want to get a 5D MKII or 7D for the video side of things. I was thinking of buying a video camera for my MTB riding. Quality of the video is awesome!

Good job.

Nice job Liam.

Did you film at 1080/24 or 720/60? And did you import directly into Pinnacle or convert to another codec first?

Thanks,
Phil.

Thanks,

I filmed at 720/60 and imported everything directly into Pinnacle. Editing like this was not perfect, but Pinnacle was the only program that seemed to be able to handle the raw file formats of the 7D.

I exported at 720/24 . I'm not sure if taking the 60fps footage then just at the end clicking 24 to export works, or maybe there's better options for exporting to 24 fps ? Just mathematically I'm not sure how it decided which frames to drop out, I would think ideally I would want to film at 48 if I wanted to do any slowmo (which I can't get to work for me in Pinnacle anyways) then drop it to 24.
