All - Mine's on the way...any suggestions for a good after market manual/owners guide? I usually buy one to supplement the included manual. Nothing on Amazon caught my eye........thanx

Old timer,

I'm not sure if there is a good one for this camera. I like buying books on my new camera, too, because they're usually easier to read than the manual. I got this one for this camera (external link), but I wasn't very impressed with it.

I am a proud new owner of a 5dmkII! I've wait a while to pull the trigger and I couldn't be anymore happier today. Coming from a XTi body this is amazing! Time to get snapping =)

5D & 7D (both gripped), 24-105L, 100-400L, 15-85, 50 f1.8, Tamron 28-75, Sigma 12-24, G10, EX-Z55 & U/W housing, A1+10 lenses, tripods, lighting gear, etc. etc.

I just picked mine up this weekend. The local camera shop had a no sales tax deal for all Canon DSLR's so I couldn't resist. I can't wait to explore all the features. So far, difference in high ISO compared to my 40D is pretty amazing. Plus it's WAY easier to see through the viewfinder for an older guy like me.

oh k.... thought i recognized the area.... but i was off by a lot on my guess, haha. I remember going to that beach after visiting manhattan beach.... awesome place to live.

That's Arran, taken from just south of Ayr a few months ago - I only just got around to processing it. The smaller, darker island towards the left if the shot is Holy Island
