Some nice ones in here, I enjoyed viewing how others have modified Smugmug to be unique!

There is mine...

I would like to have more control over the meta data and key words.

Great job on this one, I love it!

I don't think that is a SmugMug site. The domain may have pointed to a SM site at one time, but it doesn't look like it does anymore.

or are there hobbyists too that are using that option? Just curious.........

I'm no pro, but I signed up for a pro site because friends and colleagues wanted to buy a few prints. I got 1/2 off the first year, and I'll see if I sell enough to make it worth my while...

My site is in my sig.

My site www.cherishthemomentphotography.net (external link) is a pro site and I am a pro. I have not made as much as I had hoped selling prints but I have made more than enough to cover the costs of owning a pro site. And its nice to make a sell with out having to do anything, no annoying phone calls, not having to worry about shipping the prints to me and putting them in a nice package to give to the client (wish Smugmug offered boutique packaging but its not a big deal right now) and its nice that the client can buy the print on their own time.

My other site www.joeybowman.net (external link) is not a pro site, and I do not really think of my non portrait/wedding work as "pro" work, I still treat it as a hobby though I would like to start submitting my work to various local magazines. If I ever get to a point where I start selling a lot of waterfall, landscape, or train photos then maybe I will upgrade the account to a pro account.

What happens if you mis a payment with SmugMug? Do they hold your pics for ransom or jsut delete?

Also, how easy is it to download ALL of your pics at ANY time?

Just seems to me that SM is kinda like the Hotel California, once your in you can never leave!
