50 1.2 L OR 85 1.2 L

Which would you buy and why? Only one! I'm stuck on which one to get and will rid of my 50 1.4. Thanks

on a 7D? 50mm is a bit awkward on a crop I find.. get the 85

I am going to buy the 85L because most of my shots are between 70mm - 90mm on my 24-105L ... Now I just need the money

What about the 50 on my 5D MK II? I use that for portraits. I love the bokeh on the 85 but is it worth the extra $300 or so?

Really good results from the Sigma on full frame.. Ide expect something similar from the 50

depends on what focal lenght you prefer, Id prefer the 85L since im usuually in that focal lenght for my headshots.

I have always been on crop. While I have never used EITHER L, I do recommend the focal range of 85. I use my 85 or 30 way more than I ever used my 50 (since gone).

It's more then like 600$ difference here in Sweden.

Do you like your current 50mm? is it to short for you taste, seel it and buy the 85mm.
If you like it and you want to complement that, buy the 85mm and kdep the 50 1,4.
I you like the FL very much, but you want a better build, nicer overal lens, keep the 50 1,4 and buy the 50L.
