Cute! Amazing how thin that DOF is.

50mm at f/1.2 and at MFD is .24 inches of total DOF.

First of all, thanks to everybody in this thread for helping me in my decision for picking this lens! I totally fell in love with this lens in the few weeks I own it now. Here is my first contribution in this forum to this wonderful piece of glass.

I'm learning to use this lens.
The picture is taken at f/1.6 with 580 EX II on c5mII.
Post processing in DPP. Sharpening at 4.

Wow, I want one of these. Going through these archives always gets me in trouble :p

7D, 1D Classic. Sigma 30 1.4, 10-20. Canon 50 1.4, 85 1.8, 15-85, 70-200 f4 is (waiting for it in the mail, upgrading from non-is!). Tamron 28-75 2.8. Speedlite 430ex II.
