First go at panning these machines, really helped that we had access to some good spots which won't be available come race day. Was a good day out even tho the weather was a bit on the miserable side.

Shutter speed on these where 1/250, I did go as low as 1/200 for the 125cc class and prayed that i was getting some sharp shots..plenty of 'non' keepers from today :)

Lovely, sharp pics. It's strange seeing Farquhar back in Kawasaki green livery. I'd kinda gotten used to his purple set-up! :D
From what I've heard, getting access to good photo-spots is going to be nigh-on impossible, this year. Health 'n safety is really going overboard. A 500 lens would be handy........

Some great shots there. You don't mind binning a few not so good shots when you get results like those.
Great shot of Plater, just a pity he crashed at the end of practice - was looking forward to see him at the TT.
Hopefully you'll post some more from race day.

AWOL for a few years but back now.
1DX plus too many lenses

Great shots there & your right about finding a good spot to stand the media were given a small booklet on where they could not stand & all the good spots are marked in red as out of bounds they would have been better marking where you could stand or maybe there was nowhere left to mark lol.

For anyone wanting to catch up on the racing & watch it live online you could try link below.
