I think its a cool photo ...however its not a big yellow dirt moving thing . Its a log skidder, made to move logs not dirt , nice shot all the same though

I hope that you don't think I was trying to be a smart a$$ when I commented on your photo.... I've worked all my life around heavy equip. of all types ..... and am familiar most everything that comes with tires or tracks ..... now I'm attempting to learn from all you fine folks here on this forum about photography ! HDR especially seems interesting , with the cool results .

That's easy..lol - a bulldozer has a blade that extends across the entire front end - a FEL has a much smaller bucket on an articulated arm.

Well, I don't want to highjack this topic but I'm an inspector for the local county flood control district. The project I'm working on is a channel in Palm Springs. We are removing material in the channel to bring it back to design grade, raising the levee a couple of feet at the access road using soil cement and constructing a flood wall.
