My only grip/concern about the desire is that it has HTC's skin over the top, so you dont get Android updates when they come out for the Nexus One - you have to wait ages for the manufacturer to update its skin.

is everyones SKY broadband OK? mines crapped out? on the 3G at the moment, router just has an orange light instead of green. tried a number of reboots and restarts. Phone has a decent dialtone. Weird.

Flatmate is playing videogames tonight, so I'm not allowed to use the sky box. We need another TV.

Brienno, Lake Como, Italy - a medieval village on the waterfront that rises up into the hill behind - it has a wonderful network of alleyways that weave like a maze through the village.

As has already been said it is hard to get the colour right, I think you have done a good job and really like the composition.

I have not paid to much attention to highlights etc just yet, more the overall colour effect.

I think it looks very good

So had a quick play with the 24mm and 50mm FD mounts last night...........

The FD/EOS AF confirmation adaptor seems to work ok, press the shutter button halfway down and manual focus until the beep/confirmation light comes on in the viewfinder, Aperture Priority on the camera but the aperture has to be set manually on the lens the camera will take care of metering.

Not sure that the focus is spot on, will try a few today on the tripod with Live View and zoomed in.

So a couple of shots.

Handheld straight out of camera
24mm @ f/2.8
