Yes and no.

I was on a 40 hour casual week before work caught on...I got most back during the season.

At least you don't have to reprimand your staff for calling you a C***....

Sea star? That's an odd name. Why did they call you that?

I certainly am, he's decided to stop doing his duties. I let the first 2 times slide, but I had to put my foot down. He's a stroppy little bastard at the best of times, but he crossed the line yesterday. He has the easiest job in the world, I just don't get how he can't seem to sort himself out. On top of that he takes everything personally, which, well, isn't my problem. If he wants to act like a little baby I'm more than happy to treat him like one.

@Phil, I figured you were doing your job properly thats about the only reason a boss gets called names. Sounds like this bloke needs a reality check. Good luck.

Not really - at the end of the day you just pay the relevant rate(s) for your annual income.

Make the most of it!

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Morning everyone, I've got a small shoot for a friends 40th B'day theme party this afternoon (5:30PM ) but I've checked my gear this morning and my cactus triggers don't seem to be communicating. I've checked the battery in the reciever but can't get red lights on either (these are V4s) any help would be appreciated. :o

Congrats on the 17-55! I'm guessing you sorted the dust issue then?

Decided I should be able to clean it

Yeh, pretty much. He forgets the cellarman is the bottom rung of the ladder in the pub.

Are the batteries in the right way round? Are the receivers turned on? Is the connection to the hot shoe ok?

That's all I can offer right now. :p

Not photog related in any way, but ;

RIP Gary Coleman. I loved watching Diff. Strokes when I'd get home from primary school.

Just loaded up LR and then it crashed hard. Reloaded, and got the usual "must check catalog integrity" message. The got the "catalog is corrupt: repair or choose another catalog" message. Hit repair, works a while, then says it can't fix it.

Good old backups. Copied this morning's copy back, all good.

Phew!

@juice,what a great shot. Now did you set it up or was it that way? Either way that is tops.

Cheers John, it was kinda setup. The green leaf was there, I just moved it to where I thought was its optimum position.

One bare 550EX (I don't always use the Quadras! :-) at camera left.
