I didn't even realize my thread still existed! I'm still using the flash and loving it. No complaints at all. I recommend it to anyone looking for an ETTL flash.

I ordered mine June 18th, they showed up July 21 and unfortunately I wasn't home to sign for them. They were supposedly returned to sender on July 12th for no apparent reason and reshipped July 14th. Wish the seller would've sucked up the cost and shipped it overnight or priority to make up for lost time, but oh well. I will pick them up this Saturday from the post office and see how it goes from there!

I had the same question.

I was looking at the ebay listing, thinking about getting one to use a second flash for OCF setup with my 580 EX II. I have some of the 602 triggers.

then I ran across the following excerpt from the website:

SUITABLE FOR:
Canon 40D 50D 350D 400D 450D 500D 1000D
(NOT suitable for Canon 1Ds, 1D, 5D, 5DII Series, and 7D)

I guess if I'm strictly using it with 602 triggers, i wouldn't need to worry about the above statement...but if for some stupid reason I accidentally reached for this flash instead of my 580 EX II and mounted it...I don't want it to fry my camera :-)

Honestly- My friend took my "canon" mount flash and it worked on his nikon... another friend took the "nikon" and mounted it on HIS canon.... the only thing it does is sometimes it fires as you mount/unmount and that may have been him depressing the button as he mounted it!
